Like many others, traveling is my one of my greatest passions in life. There is truly nothing more breathtaking, more amazing, or more eye-opening than leaving your comfort zone and visiting somewhere completely new. I enjoyed visiting new places and seeing new things as a kid, but I didn’t start really traveling until my senior year of college. In 2010 alone, I visited 20 states and 8 countries. I was hooked. Since 2010, I have visited 18 countries and taken many, many trips throughout the US, crossing as many things off of my endless bucket list as I can. I’ve driven from Arizona to Florida, taken vodka shots in Russia, made five trips to New York City, and done yoga on the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia. It wasn’t luck and it wasn’t always easy. I have a full-time job at a great company, but don’t make a ton of money. I wasn’t born into an endless supply of money and no one funds this travel other than myself. I want you to understand that if travel is something you are passionate about and want to do, then you can make it happen. I started this blog both to help others enjoy the thrill and excitement that travel can bring and to document my own experiences. You don’t have to be rich to travel and you don’t have to have a lot of free time. A majority of my travel is done on weekends, flying out Friday night and returning on Sunday. Some people might call it crazy, but I can’t imagine staying in one place for too long - there’s too much to see!
Looking forward to sharing the journey with you!
