My name is Jen. Like many others, traveling is my one of my greatest passions in life. There is truly nothing more breathtaking, more amazing, or more eye-opening than leaving your comfort zone and visiting somewhere completely new. I enjoyed visiting new places and seeing new things as a kid, but I didn’t start “really” traveling until my senior year of college. In 2010, I visited 20 states and 8 countries. I was hooked.
Since 2010, I have visited many countries and taken many, many trips throughout my home country of the US both solo and with my husband, Chris. I'm always working on crossing as many things off of my endless bucket list as I can. We’ve driven from Los Angeles to Key West, up to West Virginia, and back across the plains through Missouri and Kansas all the way to San Francisco, I've taken vodka shots in Russia, done yoga on the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia and I set foot on my seventh continent amongst the penguins of Antarctica on New Year's Day, 2019. It wasn’t luck and it wasn’t always easy. I wasn’t born into a rich family and no one funds my travel other than my husband and myself, courtesy of our full-time jobs. I want others to understand that if travel is something you are passionate about and it's something you want to do, you can make it happen. I started this blog both to help others enjoy the thrill and excitement that travel can bring and to document my own experiences. I hope you enjoy. Visited as of June 2022 (62 Countries*):
